After finishing the dimpler work table I started on Van's classroom project. I think it was Dan Checkoway that said the instructions leave something to be desired, or something to that effect. The first step is to trim the stiffeners. After reading and looking and reading I was pretty sure I knew how to get this done. It wasn't unitl I was clecoing the stiffeners in place that I really realized that I DID understand. At first it was "I think this is right, I think this is right, ..." Where is that little engine that could anyway. Maybe it knows if this is right. I am ordering the empennage next week, so this practice project is pretty important for me to do correctly.
