Brief Description: #1 and #2 cylinder baffles, Top engine mount brack
I installed the top mounting brackets onto the engine crank case (image 1, the two unpainted/unprimed brackets on the fore and aft ends). I also constructed the #1 and #2 cylinder baffles and test-fit them. These both fit much better.
The #1 baffle required a 1" diamater hole with a rubber grommet to accomodate the oil line that runs forward for a constant speed prop (see image #2). My engine has the line, although my prop is currently a fixed pitch type. Vans recommended I remove this oil line: However, since I hope to upgrade my prop some day, I'm keeping the oil line in place and building the baffle to accomodate.
