With the wingtips in place, I could mark a straight edge across from the aileron's trailing edge. I sanded these down to make a nice straight line across from the aileron. However, on the right aileron, this removed enough material that the aft-most material thickness is just too thin. Also, the wingtip's trailing edge line drooped downward as it extended out from the aileron. Therefore, I used my Dremel cutting wheel to split the aft edge (image 3). I'll realign them and bond with micro/epoxy.
