I started fitting the wingtips to the wings...the beginning of a somewhat frustrating exercise. This build log will summarize many hours of trial and error. I'd fit the wings as best as I could, then drill cleco holes through the wingtip rivet holes into the fiberglass wingtip, only to find a misalignment issue usually dealing with the wingtip's trailing edge. I'd them remove the wingtip, trial-fit a new way to address the error, then fill the rivet holes with a micro/epoxy mix, sand them down flush, then try again.
