Brief Description:  Wingtip lights, part 3

Finally, I worked wiring connections between the wingtip lights and the ship-side wiring. I used 4-wire round connectors for quick/easy disconnect but secure connections. AveoLED's installation instructions give clear advice on how to reduce the chance of LED-triggered noise bleeding into our radio and intercom system: I used shielded wire, and the shielding serves as the ground contact on both ends of the wire. I also ran a dedicated ground wire from the LED's mounting chassis (image 3) to a local spot on the airplane (the screw visible on the wing rib in images 1 and 2).
