Brief Description: New fuel valve and lines, part 1
I've decided to replace the cheapo Vans stock fuel tank selector valve with a better looking and positively-labeled valve from Andair. In doing so, and as part of my previously-begun replumb of the fuel lines from the fuel tanks to this valve, I received and installed new custom-build fuel lines from Bonaco Hose. The ends that connect to the fuselage skin bulkhead fittings have 45-degree connectors, and the selector valve ends angle up to 90-degree fittings.
However, I overshot my measurements by 1 inch (damn!), and don't like the idea of pulling out a bunch of slack for fear of creating a chafe/rub hazard. Therefore, I decided to send the lines back for modification. We'll return to this project later.
