Trimming the flap top inner edge took time, but I had to eliminate the rub between the flap edge and aircraft skin. This involved mounting-checking-marking-removing-sanding-repeat.
My brother-in-law Tony Malley is an engineering manager at Lockheed Martin building F-22, F-35, and F-16 fighters. Thus, I knew his eagle eye as a Quality Assurance pro would come in handy.
