Brief Description:  Permanently mating Wings to Fuselage, Part 2

Glenn Harrington (manager, MarcAir Aviation) dropped by to lend an additional pair of hands, making the day go even faster.

For each wing, we first pushed the wing spar into the fuselage carry-through and I pounded in the slip-bolts that I originally used in March of last year for the wing fit and alignment. I then inserted a temporary AN-4 bolt to the aft spar.

With the wing now held in place, I traced the outline of the forward fuel tank attach bracket notch onto the fuel tank spar hardpoint. We then removed the wing and set it on the sawhorses several feet away from the fuselage so I could work on the spar.
