I finished drilling/riveting the piano hinges to the leg fairings. Installing the 2nd hinge half to each half required me to install the hinge pin to the two mated hinge halves, then clamp the free hinge to the fairing, making sure the fairing's open edges were aligned with no twist. That's where the blue tape came into play: It was easy to just make sure the blue tape edges on each side were aligned, then clamp them together with spring cleco clamps. The other gotcha involved the drill bit: I readjusted the drill stop to only allow the bare minimum of drill to penetrate past the hinge's inner surface, let it scuff up and scar the other hinge's other half.
