Brief Description:  Top Cowl intake-to-cealing ramps

Caleb Nolan, my nephew, helped me fit/trim the upper cowl's intake ramps into place. Trimming them was a straight-forward process: We first centered them onto the intake flanges and drilled/cleco'd them into place. Then, we installed/removed the top cowling onto the aircraft, checking the ramps' clearance from the baffles and trimming as required. Once I was happy with the fit, we mixed up a thick mashed potato-esque slurry of epoxy and microfiber and applied it between the ramps' ends and the mating surfaces on the cowling, held together tightly by a couple of clecos on each end. We used Turtle Wax on the clecos to keep them from sticking. We set these aside to cure. The results were perfect!
