Brief Description:  Wiring the EMS Sensors part 1

The Dynon Skyview Engine Monitoring System (EMS) has dozens of wires that run out to various parts of the engine. It took several hours to carefully install these sensors and route the wiring. These include exhaust gas temperature probes; cylinder head temperature probes; oil and gas pressure; oil temperature; alternator hook-up and shunt install; fuel level temperature; manifold pressure sensor (see image 1); and wiring for warning lights.
Images 2 and 3 show where I mounted two warning lights. I will print text on clear overhead projection sheets using a black/white laser printer. The left light will say MASTER CAUTION, and the right light will read ALTERNATOR. I'm adding a third light in blue that will confirm when the high pressure electric fuel boost pump is powered on.
