Brief Description: Attaching the wings -- initial attachment
With great help from Rich Donnelly, Kent Stitt, and Chris Mallory, we attached the wings to the fuselage for the first time. I crafted slip bolts from normal el-cheapo bolts from the Home Depot aviation supply house. The photos don't show it, but we used plumb bobs, two giant digital levels, and lots of string to get the wing sweep and incidence angle down to about 1/8" tolerance (the build manual allows up to 1/2"). Once all was aligned, I drilled the aft attach bolt holes.
Once all was installed and all holes drilled, we removed the wings and returned them to the wing cradle.
