After adjusting the front canopy frame's bend here and there, I re-checked the side rails' alignment and spacing, re-clamped them, rechecked the alignment and spacing, then went ahead and match-drilled the holes through the side rails using the canopy splice plates as guides. I then match-drilled the holes joining the side rails to the aft canopy frame.
