Brief Description: Fabricating the Skyview ADAHRS shelf
I fabricated a shelf for the SkyView EFIS' two ADAHRS units, which must mount in a precise manner: - More than 2 feet from anything magnetic - Within 1 degree of the aircraft's 3 axes (lateral, longitudinal, vertical)
Tackled this with .032 alclad scrap and AA6-.065x3/4x3/4 angle. Note I drew reference lines on the shelf parallel to the fore/aft aircraft reference...these will help me mount the primary/secondary ADAHRS units when I receive them from Stark Aviation (who are building my panel).
