Had to drill, grind, and file directly into the left cockpit sidewall to mount the canopy lock/release handle hardware.
Started this by taping a 1/1 scale template from the builder's drawings to the appropriate position (measured from a specific rivet and skin fold). Sharpee marked the drill points, drilled, cut the slot with a Dremel cutter wheel. Filed these down.
