Manual Reference:  Roll Bar
Brief Description:  Assembling, drilling the roll bar

Next I positioned/clamped the two roll bar rear half pieces to a flat surface. Had to measure the width from one end to the other to ensure proper width, while ensuring the same from bottom to top.
Once the measurements were proper and the halves were clamped into place, I drilled and positioned a square late at the top center that joins the two halves (those photos will come up later).

I then measured and drilled #40 holes spaced 1 1/2" along the inner and outer flanges...these will house rivets to hold the inner and outer straps (image 2). (Later on, I repeated this process for the forward channel half, although I forgot to take photos.)

I mounted the inner strap, clamped them onto the rear channel half, and match-drilled (images 2 and 3). I did the same for the outer strap.

With the inner and outer straps cleco'd onto the rear channel half, I fit the forward channel half onto the inner/outer straps, clamped it down so that the straps fit fully into the forward channel against the web, and match-drilled.
