Brief Description: Building the fuel pump cover and floor mounts
Switched things up by spending time on the fuel pump assembly. I'll use a fuel-injected IO-360 engine, which requires a high-pressure fuel pump which mounts on the cockpit floor between Kelli's and my knees.
This design required me to modify the front floor center channel cover, shortening it and creating a pass-through hole (image 1). I then drilled/deburred/dimpled the doghouse pieces and prepped them for priming and riveting.
Trimmed the cockpit floor center channel cover (right)
