Brief Description: Flap Actuator Channel, top mounting plate
Fabricated the top mounting plate that joins the flap actuator channel to the F-706 top bulkhead. This required fabricating a .063 in ALCLAD plate, applying a 28 degree bend (used a hand brake from Northern Tool). Clamped it in place atop the channel and matchdrilled using holes on the channel and the bulkhead. Deburr, prime. Slapped on the platenuts, riveted, and final-mounted it.
Have to get these right so that the flap actuator side covers will fit.
