Brief Description: Mounting the flap actuator assembly to the 705 bul
Moving on to the flap actuator assembly...very exciting! We started by marking and drilling the bolt holes through the center bearing block, then splitting the bearing block into top and bottom halves.
Next we installed the flap actuator weldment assembly in the cockpit just aft of the seats, mounting them with AN3 bolts to the 705 bulkhead through bearing blocks on the ends of the weldment.
Finally, we mounted the center bearing block, matchdrilled the bolt holes into the fuselage floor using the bearing block as a guide, and installed and torqued all bolts.
