Brief Description: Installing cockpit steps part 1
Before we install the baggage compartment floors, we need to install the cockpit steps (one for each side). We started by drilling rivet holes into the step's fuselage plate using a full-scale paper template from the kit's documentation. With these drilled, we pushed the step piece into the pre-drilled fuselage holes, turned it into position, then adjusted the mount plate's surface bend to sit flush against the fuselage skin. Once there, we match-drilled fuselage rivet holes.
