We constructed a fuselage rotisserie so that we can easily turn the fuselage for spot work. We used 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 angle aluminum from Home Depot to construct the firewall mount. We used #10 screws mounted through the existing firewall holes: We did NOT drill those holes, because we don't want to foul up the drilling sure to come much later when it's time to mount the airplane's engine mount. We cushoned the firewall with blocks of 1 inch thick wood.
The rotisserie mount is a cheap engine stand from Harbor Freight. I reversed the front floor bar so it sat flat on the floor instead of up on the metal wheels. This way the actual axis of movement is nearly level, not canted upward.
