Brief Description:  Left Wing, bottom skin, part 1

Rich (Old English for "glutton for punishment") dropped by to help me tackle the left wing's bottom skin. We started inboard along the aft spar, then L-shaped our way toward the wingtip. Slow going, mainly to think our way through each section of wing, envisioning the best (ie, easiest) way to get my hand into the wing's innards with the tungsten bucking bar and onto each rivet.

Rich really developed a quick knack for the rivet gun, burst length, trigger control, etc. The biggest lesson learned: Communication is key between bucker and gunner.

3.5 hours, and we only got about 40% of the wing done. You should see my forearms.
