Brief Description: Autopilot roll servo harness part 1
The wire harness for the Dynon autopilot roll servo came in. These harnesses consist of 4 smaller guage data wires plus three 16 guage power/ground/switch wires. I'll connect the 4 data wires with D-sub pin computer connectors, and the other 3 wires will join via MOLEX connectors.
We started bygathering/bundling the wires with shrink tube every 6-9 inches. I followed this method rather than using zip ties so that I could pass the bundle through the rib holes from the wing root to the servo.
We also shrink-tubed the 7 wires from the servo so I could pass them back through the next inboard wing rib (image 2). This gave me a free space to install connectors away from the aileron bellcrank.
