We prepped the edges of the 4 rib pieces (no fluting required), then cleco'd the assembly.
Note in photo 2 that I reconfigured the work benches to side-by-side....makes it easier to lay out these parts.
That's enough for tonight. Tomorrow we match drill the spar/doubler/rib holes.
A note: It seems like we didn't do much in 2 hours tonight, but I am employing a lesson I learned working horizontal stabilizer: TAKE YOUR TIME! Read the manual step, study the drawing, compare the parts, and do it again. There's lots of small detail on the drawings that the builder's manual won't make plain...you have to catch it. But by slow deliberate study, it all falls into place.
