In June, Houston and I travelled to Aurora, Oregon, to the Van's Aircraft Company to see how the kits are built and meet Joe Blank, Van's customer rep. I was blown away at the huge computer-operated laser cutters, each spitting out individual aluminum parts cut to absolute precision.
