The original Vans-supplied fuel line from the engine fuel pump to the fuel injection servo was too short. By that, I mean I could pull it snug enough to thread onto both connections, but it wrapped TIGHTLY around the engine case, and this was unacceptable. I ordered a new fuel line from Bonoco, designed just like the original including the 90-degree elbow on one end, but 2 inches longer. This works much better. I adel-clamped it to the #4 cylinder air line.
Fumoto's oil quick-drain is designed for big diesel truck engines with their high heat and vibration, and I believe it'll hold up well under my cowling.
