Brief Description:  Flap rod holes

Started the day by drilling the hole in the left side tha connects that flap weldments with the flap. The hole on the right left side turned out perfect. It took quite a while but I didn't want to make it any bigger than it needed to be. As the flap came up it interfered with the fuselage so I kept taking it off and shaving it down. It will need about 1/16 more on both sides, but they're close enough to allow both flaps to move up and down freely.

Finished up the day by connecting the control sticks the aileron pushrods. From the neutral position, the ailerons needed about a half turn and the rod that connects both control sticks together needed about two turns. With everythign in neutral I checked the aileron throw. Both sides were perfectly within the range of throw. I did not install the travel stops by the book. The mod I used is a couple of nylon bushings on each aileron's inboard mount. It's a series of aluminum bushing and two larger nylon bushings up to 3/4 inch. It works perfectly.
