I placed an order for some 90 degree fittings to deal with the clearance issues on the fuel pump. Decided to go ahead and work on the landing gear mounts in the mean time. Drilled two nutplates on each side and trimmed the floor stiffners on both sides to get the gear weldments in place. After doing those two things, they fit into place just fine. Removed both and worked the bolt holes. AFter a couple of tries and a little oil, I go tthe gear rods into the mounts. Drilled #N then reamed up to .3100. The plans call for .3110. If that doesn' twork when I put it all back together, I'll buy a .3110 reamer. Just got the left side done today. Will finish up the right tomorrow. (Vets day).
