I made my template for the cloth, then started laying it up. I had to make the inboard and the outboard seperate in order to get the cloth to come anywhere close to laying down. And still it would wrap tightly enough. I was in panic mode! I had mixed my resin, pressed it into the cloth and cut the pieces only to hit a brick wall on the first ply! I finaly decided to call West System for help. I was able to get thru to a tech rep very quickly to share my problem. He told me to add in some micro to the resin and let it almost get to starting to hard. Apply a coat on that mixture to my part then lay the cloth onto that. IT WORKED! Crisis averted. I was able to finish the right saide fairing before everything started to harden. I'm sure the cold temps helped....The left side went much smooter. They are gonna need a lot of filler but I'm happy with the raw part.
