1) Referred to "Firewall Forward" for plate dimensions, and confirmed with locat measurements. 2) Cut 5.5 inch square from .070 6061T6. 3) Established center of square, and puched a locating mark. 4) Swung compass in circle of diameter of prop mounting hole centers. Made second circle diameter of finished plate. 5) Used old trick with compass to locate 6 equally spaced points around the circle./ 6) Punched these locations. 7) Pilot drilled all punched locations with #40 bit. 8) Opened holes around periphery of circle to 3/8" 6 places. 9) Deburred. 10) Drilled center hole to clear 5/16 bolt. 11) Cut just outside the outer circle with jigsaw. 12) Rremoved head from 5/16 bolt, and mounted assembly to threaded end. 13) Placed in drill press, and used file on rotating plate to remove excess metal.
