I'm using led light strips for instrument panel lighting. The back of the strip has 3M adhesive. Although I was going to fabricate aluminum mounting slips, I decided to try the adhesive already present.
1) Removed adhesive backing. 2) Positioned under lip of instrument panel overhang. 3) Pressed into place, and secured with clamps while adhesive sets.
