Brief Description: Drilled and clecoed top rear to fuselage side
1. Taped port top skin to side skins, using duct tape. 2. Established location of forwardmost rivet on port side, and drilled with #40 rivet. 3. Strung a chalk line between aft elevator mount rivet hole and forward most rivet hole, using clecos to anchor line on either end. 4. Snapped chalk line. 5. Established rearwardmost top rear skin monting rivet location, and pilot drilled with #40 rivet. 6. Set rivet fan to 40mm pitch, per drawing 6B21. 7. Set rivet fan in position, and center punched rivet holes. 8. Moved rivet fan to area of longeron splice, and established 19mm pitch, per 6B21. 9. Center punched. 10. Pilot drilled center punched locations with #40 bit, clecoing as rivet holes were created. 12. Opened all but holes on longeron splice with #30 bit. Holes on longeron splice will be back drilled later fwith forward skin in position. 13. Repeated steps 1-12 on stbd side.
