1) Removed 6B1-8 and 6B1-9 on the stbd side to allow elevator installation. 2) Put molding strips on fuselage to protect front of elevator. 3) Moved elevator into place. 4) Clecoed 6B1-8 and -9 in place on stbd side. 5) Clecoed elevator foreplane to 6B1-8 and -9, both sides. 6) Connected elevator control cables to elevator, 7) Riveted 6B1-8 and -9 on stbd side with A5 rivets. 8) Using grandson to hold nutdriver, while I installed nuts, installed AN3 bolts between elevator forplane and 6B1-8 and -9. 9) Tightened elevator cable and safteyed.
