1. Cleaned oil tank in heated degreaser. 2. Washed tank. 3. Stripped existing paint with paint stripper. 4. Washed tank with water. 5. Washed tank in mild acid bath, to neutralize any remaining stripper. 6. Washed again, then dried with pressure air sdtream. 7. Some mild corrosion on tank - coated tank with rust converter, and allowed to dry overnight. 8. Taped over openings on tank with masking tape. 9. Primed with Zinc primer. 10. Painted two coats with Continental engine enamel, and allowed to cure.
