Brief Description:  Installed nose gear on aircraft

1) Assembled Nose gear leg to fork and fork doubler.
2) Installed lower bearing support 6B8-9 with AN3 bolts, flats and lock nuts.
3) Slipped bungee cord 1080GHD over support.
4) Hooked bungee cord with back of nose gear leg, and pushed gear up through upper bearing.
5) WIth the gear bottom canted forwards, placed lower gear bearing 6G2-1 around the gear, and pushed into place.
6) Tapped assembly until it positioned correctly, then installed AN4 bolts through the lower bearing support, and into the tapped holes in the bottom bearing.
7) Slipped side bolts into bottom bearing, and installed flats and lock nuts.
8) Using a socket extension, slipped remaining end of bungee over front tab on gear.
9) Slipped axle, spacers, and wheel in the bottom of the fork.
10) Tightened nuts on end of axle for corrent positioning.
11) Marked locations on axle for cotter pin holes with #40 bit.
12) Removed axle, and, using marked locations, drilled cotter pin holes.
13) Disassembled axle and wheel, and stored parts for later use.
