Brief Description:  various engine updates

The work done on this day was in three engine related areas:

1: I am unhapy with the level of corrosion on the cylinder hold-down nuts. I have new nuts in hand, but the engine baffles interferred with access to the nuts. I removed enough baffles that it should now be possible to replace the nuts.

2: One of the fuel pumps refused to produce fuel pressure during the engine run. Although it acts as though the pump is working, and might have an air leak in the input, I was unable to find such a leak, and must therefore conclude the pump may be defective. I replaced it with a like unit.

3: The throttle would not allow the engine to idle properly. When I changed the throw of the throttle cable to allow a suitable idle, the max throttle setting was too low. I moved the cable connection to the second hole in the throttle arm. This appears to allow the throttle to move from full to minimum, although of course, only another engine run will verify this.
