I decided to carpet the floor so I purchased some inexpensive thin black auto carpet at Pep Boys. I sewed Velcro onto the fabric, and used self stick Velcro on the floor. I used aluminum tape and duct tape to bridge the gap across the angle at the bottom of the firewall and make a smooth transition. The glare shield fabric was attached with Velcro at the firewall, and some sheet metal screws through the vinyl edging into the glare shield above the instrument panel.
