These are the main antenna, the Coms are installed in the first inspection cover on both wings, the OAT in the middle inspection cover, the Transponder in the passenger control stick bay (easy to access) and the VOR in the Aft Bottom Skin. These locations are determined by the need to keep the Com. Antenna 3’ apart and the Txpndr antenna with a 3’ ground plane and a distance of 3’ from the remoted txpndr on the rear battery tray. They all have back plates of 0.063 2024 T3 Aluminium as dictated by the manufacture’s instruction. The avionics are high quality so let’s have high quality performance, there is no point in degrading it’s performance by poor antenna placement.
