Brief Description: Electricity Conductivety / Hirth Test
The problem with good corrosion proofing is poor conductivity which leads to an unhappy amateur homebuilder when struck by lightning. So to resolves this and ensure good conductivity and a good Hirth test the following was done. Using small wire steel wire brushes and or a mini sand blaster (using Aluminium Oxide medium) the bolt holes were abraded. Silver Conductive Grease was applied on the abraded area for conductivity and corrosion prevention.
