Holes were drilled into the frame to ensure the canopy was located correctly with the correct space for the Sikaflex 295 UV and no movement occurs during the process. The canopy was drilled as per the instructions, but every other hole was left out and only the sliding section of the canopy was drilled. no hole were drilled on the arch on the sliding side. The Plexiglass was drilled using a plexiglass drill that was heated to cherry red. This ensures that no cracks occur; it’s like drilling butter and works a treat. I suspect these holes will be needed later for the installation of the skirt, better drilled now than later.
