Great care was taken in fitting the Tail Spring Mount but to no avail.The end result was the holes attaching the Mount to the F-811 bulhead were a nasty mess. It turned out the mount MD-409 forward plate was out of alignment with the rear plate. The replacement part drilled true.
An Avery Drill Guide was used to ensure the holes were at right angles. A spring was used to push the mount up tight to the metal, where space was tight and only one hand was used,
