The Falcon Pitot Tube Support Kit was installed on the outboard side of the rib one bay out from the Aileron Bellcrank; far enough away from the tie down point to stop the tie down rope catching the pitot.
A gap of around 2mm around the Pitot Support Tube was left to ensure the heat from the Heated Pitot was not transfer to the outside of the bottom skin. Glasair recommends this on their kits.
