Brief Description:  First wing spar

I had a mate who is a joiner come around to help with levelling the tables before assembling the spar. This took a long time as it appears my "level" garage floor was not so level.

Have done all of the drilling, match drilling and fitting of the first spar.

The cap strips are all matched up to the spar, correctly marked and match drilled to each other and to the spar webs. The attach plates are also all match drilled to the spar web and everything appears to be straight.

I found the string line on the outside of the spar was very hard to judge, so I have run a string line down the centre of the spar web instead. This makes it a lot easier to establish whether the 2 halves have gone together true.

Tonight I clecoed all the cap strips to the spar. I am now ready to drill all the #30 holes out to #21.
