I finally broke down and removed the Gen 1 redrive, against my will, but compliant with the "lame" directive from Eggenfellner. I removed the starter and prop controller items. I then cut off the 1 bolt, cut off a stud and cleaned up the surfaces. Ready for the Gen 3 install.
