Well, had a little help today and installed both elevators. The right side is flawless, however the left side had some minor rubbing. I tried to remove the paint layers with a small file, but I will have to go home and bring in the rasp. It looks like about 1/64th more to remove for ample clearance. A bunch of my pilot friends showed up after our usual Saturday morning breakfast. It was nice.
