Worked with SDS by phone to resolve the inability to get the 10 degrees BTDC. Duncan suggested I check the magnet polarities. I informed him they were proper. He then said to put #1 to TDC and check timing mark. It was out 40 degrees. I went to file a notch in, and a piece of putty or something fell out of the slot. I painted the old mark black and the new one white. I reset idle to 10 degrees BTDC and the magnet position to 80. I rolled her outside , started it up, and it purred like a kitten. The timing light confirmed the 10 degrees BTDC position. Success. The SuperTrapp exhaust system is so quiet, you almost forget it's running.
