Brief Description: Wings - Left Wing final finishes
With the Right Wing done, I switched it out in the rotary jig replacing it with the Left Wing. I botched the job of feeding the three wires out to the Wing Tip for the AVEO strobe/nav light. By that I mean the stick that you see in the first photo below fell apart inside the wing leaving about 2 feet of plastic behind. (How to get it out? Arghh!!!) After that disappointment I got the light itself wired in and mounted to the wing fairly quickly. Then I installed all the Hinges and Hinge Arms, followed by the Flap and the Frise Aileron, leaving the gap seals for later. 10 August update: with additionally ordered saddles and plastic spacers in hand today I finished installing the two eyebolt assemblies per wing that poke through the bottom side fabric from the Wing Compression Strut Mid.
