Brief Description:  Assembling the main wheels

Stymied by the missing parts that are preventing us from finishing the 'new style' fuel tank installation (Section 3 - replaced by Chapter 5.3) Steve and I decided to switch to the main wheels assembly.
We had lots of room on the workbench in the hangar's shop so we set up our parts side-by-side with the manual in the middle and made a race of it... sort of. Me, being the slow staid type, reading every step and checking off each accomplishment was definately the slower. Steve, relying on his higher level of mechanial aptitude and hard won experience (on sailboats) was definately the faster. But when penalty points were given for errors, it was pretty much a tie.
We were cognizant of other builders' problems with mounting parts back to front for whatever reason, so compared our output step by step with the photos provided, and occasionally swapped parts to keep the mirror images in line with the photos. I'm not sure this was really required but we did it, right or wrong, and the final assemblies looked correct.
We stopped at Section 9 step 10 because I haven't purchased the required HCG Grease P/N 605 as yet.
My little shop air compressor was great for pumping up the inner tubes and the very extensive socket set (205 pieces!) was indispensable in providing the little Allen head bits, adapters, extensions and ratchets needed to make progress. Of course, in a real race, a second set would have made it possible for me to have blown by Steve for a clear victory!
