Brief Description:  Elevator Trim - checking out

I have electric trim on my plane that adjusts the elevators in the empennage according to the thumb switches in each of the Tolsten CS-6/T Aircraft Grips on the Control Sticks. There is a position read out on a small dash mounted gauge.
The best instruction for this, beyond the basics in the Searey LSA manual, is the installation manual that came with my Aircraft Components Inc wiring harness that I purchased from John Dunlop at Canadian Light Amphibians.
The hardest part of this was reaching down through the still open canopy window on the co-pilot side to access the actuator power and sensor wiring that is right down in the hull. Very frustrating and resulting in a lot of bruising of my forearms and a lot of blue air.
Anyway, I got to the point that when the Control Stick switches were pushed forward and back the elevators would go up and down and the little gauge would signal accordingly. I am pretty sure that the elevators are moving in the right direction for 'up' and 'down' trim, but: NOTE TO SELF: CHECK THIS THOROUGHLY BEFORE TAKING FLIGHT!!!
