To move onto installing the windshield and the sliding canopies I first have to install the nose deck. I have been delaying this as long as possible because once the nose deck is in place the wiring and avionics mounted on the wiring harness support tray becomes inaccessible and the back on the control panel very difficult to access. After cleaning the bow area thoroughly and once again checking that all the wiring and devices were secured in place I installedl cable tie mounts under the deck and along the top inside edges of the hull. I am not sure what specifically these are for, other than the parking brake cable on the pilot's side, but installing them now makes them available if necessary later. With the nose deck sitting in place on the hull I marked all the rivet holes along the horizontal joint and drilled and clecoed every fourth one. I plan to push through and install the windscreen and sliding canopies prior to drilling out the remaining holes here and installing the rivets.
